Graybar Supervisor Customer Service in Wallingford, Connecticut

As a Supervisor Customer Service, you will oversee a team to ensure our customers are receiving the best service possible.

In this role you will:

  • Supervise a customer service department, including assigning and reviewing the work of others

  • Establish department work procedures, prepare schedules and expedite workflow of purchase orders

  • Train and develop employees

  • Ensure every customer experience is top notch in quality

  • Collaborate with branch team to grow sales

  • Recommend transfers, promotions, increases, and terminations

What you bring to the table:

  • Strong communication skills

  • A passion for customer service

  • Supervisory and leadership skills

  • Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact

  • 1+ years experience required

  • 2 year or 4 year degree preferred

Work shift and hours:

  • Full-time, salaried, exempt

  • Monday - Friday

  • 7:30am - 4:30pm, or depending on business needs

  • Predictable work schedule to plan your life around: no weekends or nights for most roles

  • Paid time-off, including 3+ weeks of vacation, sick time, and volunteer time

Compensation Details:

  • The expected rate of pay for this position is starting at $70,000 annually depending on experience

  • This position is also bonus eligible - based on specific and relevant business metrics
