Graybar Supervisor Human Resources Operations in St Louis, Missouri

Supervise the day-to-day activities supporting Human Resources Operations, including total rewards, recruiting operations, and general administration.

Ensure accurate processes and audit compliance, issue resolution, and employee satisfaction; create and maintain a continuous improvement environment.

This role will be performed fully in the office at our Maryland Heights Location.

In this role you will:

  • Supervise and evaluate the effectiveness of the Human Resources operations team.

  • Distribute workload and resolve escalated issues.

  • Ensure compliance requirements and service level expectations are met by the team.

  • Provide a high level of team support, coach, and mentor team members.

  • Develop employees by effectively measuring performance and engaging team members in developmental activities.

  • Drive onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer of team members.

  • Ensure team provides high customer service levels.

  • Evaluate HR processes; ensure documentation and training materials are accurate and up to date.

  • Identify and implement changes and corrections to system(s); maintain accurate vendor data.

  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities and projects for all processes owned by the team.

    What you bring to the table:

  • 5 years’ experience: operations and/or administration experience, including employee and/or vendor support

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Preferred: Four-year degree: Business, Human Resources, Management, or related area

  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred

  • Preferred: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement principles

  • Knowledge of performance management and measurement techniques

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

  • Customer service and problem resolution skills

  • Data analysis skills

  • Ability to train and motivate staff and achieve results through others

  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees

  • Ability to handle a large volume and variety of work

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
