As a Business Development Manager for Graybar in Medley, FL, you will develop business in the end user or contractor market. You will lead the coordination of resources and leverage relationships to create new business opportunities. Business Development Managers are responsible for creating new customer relationships, developing leads and closing sales. We are looking for someone with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills who loves the thrill of closing the sale. * * In this role you will: * Prospect for new business, develop leads, close sales * Sell Graybar’s solutions platform * Conduct sales presentations to potential customers * Provide expertise to end users, installers, consultants, engineers, etc. regarding product specifications * Participate in professional organizations to enhance lead generation potential * Meet or exceed assigned annual sales and profitability budgets
Selling and developing business within the following markets: contractors/installers, industrial, end-user market selling Graybar and manufacturers' service platform; but is not limited to industrial, commercial, contractor and new technology customers. Minimum five years' working experience of take-offs of 480 volt and below and not limited to the following products: switchboards, panel boards, busway, dry type transformers, NEMA contactors and starters, limit switches, load centers and metering equipment (Meter Pak & Meter Centers). Lead the coordination of resources and/or leverage relationships to create new business opportunities directly or indirectly through reseller partners aligned with the Company. Responsible for selling the entire Company solutions platform regardless of the line of business./ /
Spanish speaking and written skills preferred. Experience using SE Advantage helpful.
