Graybar Part-Time Shared Services Support in Maryland Heights, Missouri

As Shared Services Administrative Support, you will provide clerical and administrative support for departments within the Company’s Shared Services Organization.
In this role you will:
Perform data entry of merchandise, freight, and expense invoice information into the electronic imaging and accounts payable systems including opening, sorting, batching, and scanning mail and verifying quality of electric images
Match accounts payable invoices to purchase orders by line items
Create new customer accounts as requested by financial personnel; update accounts in customer master as necessary
Monitor email queues for internal and external correspondence; research, respond and/or escalate as needed
Identify improvement opportunities and assist in implementing improvements
What you bring to the table:
1+ years prior experience in a client service focused environment preferred
Four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Marketing or Business Administration preferred
Knowledge of SAP; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Understanding of debits and credits
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with ability to interact with multiple levels within the organization
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to deal with confidential information, including internal and external data and communications
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely via phone, email, and in person
Ability to multitask effectively, prioritize and manage workflows, meet deadlines, handle a high volume of invoices, and perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload
Ability to assess a problem and promptly resolve or escalate as needed
