Graybar NECA Strategic Account Manager in Maryland Heights, Missouri
Are you ready?
As a NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association) Strategic Account Manager, you will develop and implement strategy for increasing sales and profits with potential new strategic customers and call on potential new accounts.
In this role you will:
Engagement with each of the focus NECA & JATC chapters
Coordinate events with NECA chapters – training, trade shows, team building events, etc.
Develop and implement focus Chapter programs
Establish and develop relationships with Chapter managers and key contractors
Communicate with Branch Managers, Sales Reps and Account Managers on existing initiatives
Attend NECA conventions and present as needed
Target and aggressively pursue new Corporate Account customers
Coordinate needs of specific customers
Coordinate activities with key suppliers
Identify opportunities at assigned potential accounts, and communicate those opportunities to appropriate employees
Transition new accounts to Business Management
Develop key relationships with assigned accounts
What you bring to the table:
Minimum 5 years experience in progressively more responsible sales, marketing, and/or operating experience required
Previous Account Representative experience preferred
4 year degree preferred
Experience with sales, marketing, and operating processes
Knowledge of financial analysis methods and techniques; pricing strategies and techniques
Knowledge of SAP
Negotiation skills
Ability to make oral and written presentations to audiences of different sizes and varied backgrounds
Ability to think strategically
Ability to execute plans on time, on budget, and achieve successful results
Extensive travel required
