Graybar Manager Human Resources Analytics and Reporting in Maryland Heights, Missouri

As a Manager - HR Analytics and Reporting, you will support and manage the execution of the Company’s Human Resources (HR) strategies in the areas of human capital analytics, metrics and reporting.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and manage a team of analysts and/or reporting specialists to execute the HR department’s reporting needs, including standard and ad-hoc reports, scorecards/dashboards, executive presentations and analysis on key HR metrics

  • Lead team in researching and analyzing data to identify trends, uncover potential issues and work with the business and other HR functions to develop recommendations

  • Partner with Corporate and/or field leadership to answer HR-related business questions using advanced analytics and the scientific method

  • Influence key stakeholders across the organization through consulting, data visualization and story-telling

  • Use descriptive, predictive and prescriptive statistics to determine the direction and effectiveness of our people strategy

  • Build, maintain and leverage effective working relationships with the Information Technology Department and cross-functional analytics counterparts to move projects forward and produce high quality and comprehensive outputs

  • Lead and execute our internal survey strategy

  • Use insights gained from internal survey strategies and social media to make recommendations about people strategies

  • Ensure team complies with all internal and external policies and regulations regarding data sharing, security and governance

The compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 per year + applicable bonuses.

What you bring to the table:

  • 3 years experience in Human Resources or a related field; 6+ years preferred

  • 4 year degree in Human Resources or a related field required

  • Advanced degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Analytics or related field preferred

  • Knowledge of behavioral statistics

  • Knowledge of advanced analytical/visualization tools including SQL, R/Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik

  • Knowledge of key HR functions including recruiting, performance management, employee development, and succession planning

  • Knowledge and understanding of HR technology, systems, and processes

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Consulting and influencing skills

  • Project management and process design skills

  • Oral, written, and presentation skills

  • Proficient Microsoft application (advanced Excel) skills

  • Ability to extract, analyze and visualize data

  • Ability to effectively lead a team and achieve results through others

  • Ability to collaborate and to provide excellent internal customer service

  • Ability to develop, monitor, and improve business and people strategy

  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams
