Graybar Instructional Designer in Maryland Heights, Missouri

As an Instructional Designer for the Human Resources Project Team, you will help reimagine, influence, and deliver innovative solutions for some of Graybar’s most pressing talent needs. You and your teammates will manage a portfolio of HR projects, and you will be responsible for developing learning solutions and multi-media change management materials.

This position is full-time within an office setting at our St. Louis location, with a hybrid in-office and remote schedule.

In this role you will:

· Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and learners to conduct a needs analysis and determine project learning and change management requirements.

· Develop learning and change management materials leveraging a variety of learning modalities (e.g. e-learning, presentations, participant and facilitator guides, videos, and job aids or other performance support tools).

· Work collaboratively with project team members to ensure integrated, cross-functional solutions.

· Support successful project implementation by providing clear timelines, managing your deliverables, partnering with project team members, and communicating with key stakeholders.

· Assist in the recommendation and evaluation of project success measures.

What you bring to the table:

· 2+ years’ experience with instructional design models and processes including analysis, design, development, and evaluation

· 4-year degree in a related field or relevant experience, such as instructional design, Human Resources, or change management

· Experience implementing a company-wide change management or training program

· Strong knowledge of adult learning theory

· Proficiency using designer, development, and editing tools for print, multimedia, and interactive e-learning solutions (e.g. Articulate 360, and Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office Suite)

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skill

Pay Details:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $27 an hourly; subject to change based on experience.
