Graybar Field Human Resources Coordinator in Maryland Heights, Missouri

If you want to be an integral part of a human resources team, this Field Human Resources Coordinator role may be the right fit for you. As a Field HR Coordinator you will serve as a resource for an assigned territory to provide support in the areas of post-offer processes, leave of absence administration, onboarding set-up for new hires and system workflow.

In this role you will: * Contact candidates after an employment offer has been accepted to communicate steps of pre-employment checks. Initiate pre-employment drug tests, background checks and other pre-hire processes for all accepted offers within territory of responsibility. * Ensure workflows and approvals go through for new hires and onboarding is initiated once start date is finalized. * Communicate leave of absence procedures, send applicable forms to employees, follow up on statuses and outstanding information regarding employee leaves with both employee and disability provider. * Administer leaves in conjunction with federal, state and municipality laws and regulations related to Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), short term disability (STD), long term disability (LTD), workers compensation, military and personal leaves. * Provide reporting and various other administrative support within the territory you support.

What you bring to the table: * 3 years of experience: HR and customer service * Bachelor's Degree preferred * Leave of absence administration preferred; knowledge of employment laws, benefits and leave of absence * Knowledge of applicant tracking systems preferred * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of the organization * Ability to guide leadership on procedures and policies About Graybar Graybar is a leading North American distributor of electrical, communications and data networking products and a provider of supply chain management and logistics services.
