Graybar eCommerce Web Developer/Designer in Maryland Heights, Missouri

The Ecommerce Web Designer and Developer will be responsible for the ongoing development and design of, web applications and other digital components designed to drive sales through customer interactions.

In this role you will:

  • Develop opportunities for optimal website navigation, targeting, usability, and improving the overall web experience.

  • Conceptualize creative ideas with Information Technology and Marketing for

  • Test and improve the design and usability of

  • Maintain the appearance of by adhering to development and design guidelines.

  • Communicate development and/or design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.

  • Incorporate functionalities and features into as determined by our customers and industry trends.

    What you bring to the table:

  • 3-5 years’ experience: developing and designing e-commerce websites, web applications, and other components

  • Four-year degree

  • Graphic Design work experience

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS and JavaScript/JQuery, JavaScript Frameworks, Version control, Responsive Design, Testing/Debugging, Browser tools, Automation/Web Performance tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and other tools.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology

  • Knowledge SAP Hybris/Commerce and/or other e-commerce platforms

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Excellent written and communication skills

  • Proficient creative, technical and analytical skills

  • Project and time management skills

  • Ability to develop and design e-commerce websites, web applications and other components

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels within the organization
